Baking & Pastry Evening Course
The Baking and Pastry program runs approximately 22 weeks, Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM (20 hours per week). Classes start in January and July of each year. Applicants seeking funding or early enrollment discounts are encouraged to register for school at least 3 months prior to their desired start date.

- Artisan bread baking
- Laminated dough
- Quick bread
- Cakes
- Pies and Tarts
- Egg custards
- Cake decorations
- Chocolate and candy making
- Vegan, diabetic, & gluten free desserts
- Catering and mass production
- Event and menu planning
- Food safety and ServSafe training and more…
Graduates will receive:
- Certificate in Baking & Pastry Arts
- ServSafe Managers Certification
- A Life Skills Training Certificate
- Life-time job assistance from Promise Culinary School
The cost of the program is $5,010.00
Tuition includes:
- Full Chef’s uniform
- Professional Baking & Pastry kit
- Textbook
- Equipment, apron and side-towel rental
- All food used in daily production

- Workfirst NJ
- Division of Vocational Rehabilitation – DVR
- Department of Youth Services
- Department of Military and Veterans Affairs
