Due to COVID-19, we are not able to offer ServSafe certifications at this time. The earliest we expect to reopen is Spring/Summer 2021.

ServSafe is a food service sanitation course developed by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation to provide certification for Food Service employees.

Promise Culinary School offers a comprehensive one-day training course which allows participants to gain ServSafe® Food Protection Manager certification, the highest certification awarded by ServSafe.

An online Servsafe accreditation course is now available for certification renewals.

The course focuses on five aspects of food service that can affect the safety of food:

  • Foodborne Microorganisms & Allergens
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Purchasing, Receiving and Storage
  • Preparation, Cooking and Serving
  • Facilities, Cleaning/Sanitizing and Pest Management

The course is instructed by Chef Elizabeth Sadi, a licensed ServSafe Instructor.

The cost for the class and certification is $150.00 which includes lunch and refreshments.

For students looking to renew their certification, an online accreditation option is available for $100.
